Dr Zhou Huiquan
Dr Zhou Huiquan’s research interests are focused on the prediction and prevention of serious mental illness through the utilisation of electronic health records. He aims to enhance the understanding of prescription patterns and their associated mental health outcomes, with a particular emphasis on treatment-resistant schizophrenia and the sequence analysis of antipsychotic medications.
Dr Zhou has a multidisciplinary background in computer science, social work, and psychiatry, equipping him with advanced statistical analysis skills that enable him to synthesise knowledge from diverse perspectives, including data-driven insights, clinical practices, and social determinants. Dr Zhou has also participated in several government-funded projects, as well as in teaching and research supervision activities.
