Terms and Conditions of Ticket Sales
Biennial International Congress on Mental Health 2024
A. General Information
1. The Biennial International Congress on Mental Health (BICOMH) 2024 will be held at One Farrer Hotel Singapore from Tuesday, 19 Nov 2024 to Friday, 22 Nov 2024.
2. BICOMH features 2 conferences: The Asian Congress of Schizophrenia Research (ACSR), which takes place on 19-20 Nov 2024 and the International Society of Addiction Medicine (ISAM) Regional Conference, which takes place on 21-22 Nov 2024.
3. The programme schedule for BICOMH is final, although updates/refinements may be made occasionally.
4. All presentations will be made in English.
5. Application for accreditation of the event is in progress.
B. Registration Information
1. Delegates may choose to attend BICOMH 2024 In-Person (face to face) in Singapore or virtually:

In-person delegates will have access to all the content live in the venue as well as virtual on-demand content.

Virtual delegates will have access to and be able to participate in the live plenary and breakout sessions, as well as virtual on-demand content.
2. The registration fees reflected on this website apply to both ACSR 2024 and ISAM Regional Conference 2024.
3. All prices quoted and payments are in Singapore Dollars (SGD) and are subjected to prevailing 9% Goods and Services Tax (GST).
4. To be eligible for Group Rates, any 3 delegates from the same billing institution must register for in-person attendance only. Group rates are not applicable for virtual attendance. Group rates are also not applicable for local full-time students who are enjoying student rate. Delegates may register for a combination of any 2-day or 4-day access.
5. Full-time local students who wish to register for the conference must upload their student matriculation card or proof of qualifying student status online during registration in order to be eligible for the student rate of $280. Registration slots for students are limited and are on first-come-first-serve basis.
6. The online registration portal accepts payments by credit card and payment must be made in full upon registration.

8. Delegates will receive their confirmation emails via email address events@gevme.comupon successful registration. Delegates are advised to check their inbox and spam box for the confirmation email.
9. The merchant’s name reflected on delegate’s credit card statement will be: “GEVME.COM EVENT REG”.
C. Cancellation and Refund / Substitution Policy
1. Cancellations and ‘No-Show’ are not eligible for a refund.
2. For group and company-sponsored registrations, the delegate remains liable for the full registration fee in the event of cancellation and ‘No-Show’.
3. Delegates who are unable to attend the event may send an alternate from the same institution for a one-for-one substitution of the same registration category and fees.
4. All substitution requests must be emailed to the event Secretariat at bicomh@imh.com.sg, together with the full name and contact details of the replacement delegate.
5. Upon receipt of the delegate’s notice of substitution, the event Secretariat will proceed to delete all registration details submitted by the substituted delegate within the next 10 working days.
6. BICOMH 2024 registrations are non-transferable and must be used by the registered delegate only.
D. Liability
1. The Organiser shall not be liable for any loss, damage or penalty resulting from delays or failures in the performance of their obligations under these Terms and Conditions if the delay or failure results from events beyond the reasonable control of the Organiser.
2. For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions, such events shall include but are not limited to, acts of God, wars, hostility, invasions, acts of foreign enemies, rebellions, revolutions, riots, civil wars, disturbances, requisitioning or other acts of civil or military authority, laws, regulations, acts or orders of any governmental authority, body, agency or official, fires, inclement weather, rain or floods (however caused), industrial actions, strikes, lock-outs or other labour disputes, outbreaks, epidemics, pandemics, embargoes or other catastrophes affecting the availability of materials or labour necessary for the performance of these Terms and Conditions.
3. The Organiser hereto agree to notify the delegates promptly of any such circumstances delaying its performance and to resume performance as soon thereafter as is reasonably practicable.
4. If any force majeure event shall continue for a period exceeding one hundred and twenty (120) days, then either Party may at any time thereafter, upon giving notice to the other, elect to cancel the Conference.
5. The registered delegate acknowledges that he/she has no right to lodge any claims against the Organiser should the Conference be hindered or prevented from taking place by any force majeure event, or by the non-appearance of scheduled programme changes. With a completed registration, the delegate confirms his/her acceptance of these provisions.
6. The Organiser does not accept responsibility for loss or damage to delegates’ own property and/or personal effects whilst at the Conference. The Organiser does not accept any liability for loss or damage to personal effects caused by any force majeure event.
