Dr Li Yanhui
Dr Li Yanhui earned her BSc in Biomedical Sciences from the National University of Singapore under the A*STAR undergraduate research scholarship, and completed her MD at Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School. Alongside clinical training, Dr Li has remained active in research and aspires to a career in academic psychiatry.
Her dedication to the field has been recognised with prestigious awards including the Early Career Academic Excellence Award from the Schizophrenia International Research Society, and an early career grant through the National Healthcare Group’s Clinician-Scientist Preparatory Programme.
Dr Li’s research focuses on schizophrenia, with particular interests in treatment resistance, biomarkers, and interventions aimed at improving patient outcomes. She has previously authored papers examining the impact of varied symptomatology on quality of life and functioning in schizophrenia, and is currently investigating immunological changes associated with treatment resistance.
