Ms Ingrid Amann
Ms Amann has been working in the Community Mental Health Sector for nearly two decades. Her initial undertaking involved one of the first Community and Area Mental Health Service collaborations in Melbourne Australia, where she managed a Residential Rehabilitation Program.
This program provided up to two years psychosocial support where psychosocial recovery workers worked alongside and clinical services ensuring medical support and community integration. Ingrid furthered her passion for developing collaborative services moving to sub-acute settings.
Prevention and Recovery Care (PARC) Programs were rolled out across Victoria and these programs involved a psychosocial recovery-based community team collaborating with Hospital Mental Health Services ensuring a holistic approach to an individual’s recovery.
Wellways Australia now works alongside numerous Hospital Mental Health Services and partners with sixteen PARCs Victoria-wide. After completing a Masters Degree in Leadership, Ingrid now oversees Wellways Australia Mental Health Services in the Eastern Region Melbourne Australia. Ingrid’s passion is developing teams to know how to collaborate.
