Dr Christopher Cheok

Adjunct Associate Professor Dr Christopher Cheok is a Senior Consultant and Chief with the Department of Forensic Psychiatry in Institute of Mental Health. He also leads the Singapore Prison Psychiatric Service.

In addition to his clinical roles, Dr Cheok advises the Singapore Armed Forces on psychiatric policy and serve as a medical assessor for the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore.

Dr Cheok is also an accomplished author, having published three books on mental health and over 20 research papers in peer-reviewed journals. His commitment to mental health extends to his volunteer work, where he has served as President of the Singapore Psychiatric Association and Chairman of Clarity Singapore Pte Ltd, a mental health charity that supports over 1,000 beneficiaries.
