Ms Teo Christine
Christine Teo is a seasoned mental health professional with extensive experience driving transformation within Victoria’s mental health system. She plays a pivotal role in the strategic oversight and implementation of mental health service reforms across the state.
Christine’s expertise includes developing and executing complex governance frameworks, overseeing system-wide mental health demand modelling, and spearheading the establishment of key mental health initiatives. Her leadership in stakeholder engagement has been instrumental in forging strong partnerships that enhance service delivery and reform efforts creating lasting partnerships between government bodies, NGOs, and community stakeholders.
With a rich educational background, including a Master’s in Social Work, Public Policy, and Counselling, along with her ongoing Doctor of Social Work research on the model of care within an acute inpatient setting, Christine brings both academic insight and practical experience to her roles. She is also actively involved in the mental health community through her volunteer work, board memberships and guest lecturing, reflecting her deep commitment to advancing mental health care and support for all.
